The Paris-based literary journal UPSTAIRS AT DUROC invites you to a reading by SUE CHENETTE, GEORGE VANCE, TROY YORKE

SUE CHENETTE is an editor for the Canadian poetry press Brick Books, and co-editor of the anthology Cry Uncle, from Aeolus Press. Her books include Slender Human Weight (Guernica Editions, 2009), long-listed for the ReLit award, and The Bones of his Being (Guernica Editions, 2012), as well as three chapbooks. Her poems have been widely anthologized and have appeared in journals in Canada and the US. Originally from Wisconsin, she lives in Toronto.

GEORGE VANCE has lived off and on in Paris for the past 30 years. He has also resided in Vienna, Aachen, Brussels and the French overseas possession of New Caledonia (Kanaky), and now lives in Reims. His volume of hybrid poetry A Short Circuit (including the poem seriesBent Time) and his chapbook Xmas Collage came out from corrupt press. Vance continues to work on text/image fusion. His video installation, Heights of Experience, has been shown in Brussels.

TROY YORKE’s poetry has been published internationally in small magazines and was selected for Australia’s Vine Leaves Literary Journal “Best of 2013 Anthology”. He is on the editorial team for the Paris-based magazine The Bastille. His first collection of poetry, Hole in My Side, was published by corrupt press in 2014.
